About

My passion for flowers began at the age of 3.

Inspired by my Grandfather’s ability to grow the most beautiful, fragrant array of garden roses and a family heritage in floristry. I dreamt of one day having a bespoke florist boutique full of luxury blooms that my Grandfather and I would operate together. The name….. KARENA.
Sadly destiny had other plans – my beloved Grandad passed away when I was 15 years old and our dream was suspended.

After enjoying a successful retail management career working for several luxury Global Brands, throughout the UK and Europe, I found myself appreciating more and more the beautiful floral boutiques in the various cities that I travelled to…… and the dream began again.

In 2014 I was asked to design and create the bridal and venue flowers for my friend’s wedding in Nottinghamshire. I felt truly honoured. Delighted with the results, her Parents commissioned me to return a year later to be the florist for their other Daughter’s wedding…… With the encouragement of the family and the venue to pursue my dream….. KARENA was founded.

Since 2014 I have had the privilege of creating beautiful wedding flowers and styling some of the most stunning venues both nationally and internationally. I have met and hold very dear so many fabulous brides, grooms and their families and I am truly grateful that their trust in me and my business has made my dream a reality.

In 2017 KARENA opened a small floral boutique in Formby village offering a full range of bespoke floral services. I was commissioned to create several floral bouquets for the cover of the 2017 – 2018 edition of County Brides magazine and completed several stunning photoshoots for Luxury wedding venues in Liverpool.

KARENA is now a preferred supplier for 9 destination wedding venues in the Northwest and this year we have 4 beautiful Italian weddings to complete.

I would like to thank my family, friends, colleagues and most importantly my customers for their support and encouragement. My dream is now a reality.
